DesignOurDay was founded in January 2006.  The founder of our company, Karen Miller, wanted to develop an easy-to-use website creation tool after spending countless hours trying to develop her own wedding website.

“When I got married I was doing most of the planning for my wedding. The wedding was in Park City, UT and only two of our guests were local.  This caused all sorts of challenges because nobody knew anything about the area. I had originally planned on mailing out an itinerary and activities list to our guests but soon realized that I would more than likely need to add/remove details as our wedding date got closer.  I figured the best way to get everyone the necessary information was to set up an informative website that I could change as our plans did.”

I eventually got a site online but not after spending countless hours trying to learn HTML, formatting the site and learning how to host and publish a site on my own. DesignOurDay was developed as a fun and easy-to-use site to help couples spread the word about their upcoming wedding.  We are not a hosting company looking to make a quick buck! Our goal is to make spreading the word about your wedding as easy and fun as possible. We know you have a lot going on right now so we built DesignOurDay.com with you in mind. Let us worry about the technical hassles of designing and hosting a website. This way you can worry about the important things like choosing between Steak or Salmon.
